Powerhaul Freightmovers ("we", "us") runs this website. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Quote and contact forms: your name, company, email, phone and the shipment details you send.
- Carrier setup: company details, contacts, MC and USDOT numbers, your uploaded documents (MC authority letter, W9, certificate of insurance, notice of assignment or voided check), your electronic signature, and a record of when and from what network address the agreement was signed.
- Accounts: your name, company, email, phone, MC and USDOT numbers and the public FMCSA record for carriers (including the contact used to send sign in codes), a secure hash of your password (never the password itself), and a record of sign ins.
- Job applications: your contact details, what you tell us about yourself and your resume if you attach one.
- Basic technical data: our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes network addresses and request details to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
Why we use it
To quote and arrange freight, set up and pay carriers, meet our legal and tax obligations, review applications and keep the site secure. We do not sell your information and we do not use advertising trackers.
How we protect it
Everything travels over an encrypted connection. Documents and form submissions are encrypted before they're saved, kept in private storage and can only be opened by our team through a separate secured login.
Who we share it with
Only the parties needed to move freight and run our business: the shipper or carrier on a load, our payment and factoring partners, service providers that host this site and send our email, and authorities where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Carrier records are kept while we work together and for as long as tax, insurance and transportation rules require afterwards. Applications and messages are deleted when we no longer need them.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, subject to records we must keep by law. Use our contact page to reach us.
This is a starting policy written for a new business. Have it reviewed by a lawyer before relying on it.
